While harmony prevails, opposing design forces converge in this provocative home. Color is used sparingly, but to great impact, as a point of contrast to the crisp white walls. This space is clean and airy but the resulting contrast creates a rhythm that moves the eye through each room.

A Study in Contrasts

Upcycling Tradition

Our clients wanted to feel better in their home, but they wanted to feel good about the process, too. This meant being efficient with existing fixtures and furnishings to decrease the environmental waste that can come with a remodel. We recovered a pair of dated armchairs with an antique kilim rug, to make a one-of-a-kind showpiece from existing materials.
